Title: A Fake Christian sounds like...
Post by: Kenneth Winslow on November 14, 2018, 09:25:24 PM
Chris has mentioned many times the kind of objections and unbiblical arguments that false Christians make when confronted with Bible preaching.

In case anyone is wondering what that may look like in real life;
A week ago last Saturday night, at the 42:00 point in this video, as Tim was preaching, I was confronted by just such a man that was working at the Whiskey Bent saloon nearby.

I suppose they say the same things because they are under the same antichrist spirit.

//(Part #3 of 4)

Though we were headed to the Bridgestone Arena again we stopped in front of Blake Shelton's honky tonk bar named 'Ole' Red'.  After a while we decided to stay there on the corner of Broad and 3rd instead of preaching outside of the hockey game.
I'm sure you will notice just how wicked and depraved so many of the youth of America are today. Keep in mind that Nashville is a city loaded with "Higher Education". Vanderbilt, Belmont, TSU, Lipscomb and Fisk University's are all in the capital city of Tennessee, just to name a few.
Some of the most perverted, vulgar and angry hecklers are these college aged people.
If you are a born again Christian please pray for these lost souls.//

I am the foreign one but I assume it means a thrill seeker..
In the webster 1828 the word thrill simply means drill, but in modern dictionary it means:
WordNet Dictionary
Noun   1.   thrill - the swift release of a store of affective force; "they got a great bang out of it"; "what a boot!"; "he got a quick rush from injecting heroin"; "he does it for kicks"
Synonyms: kick, boot, bang, flush, rush, charge
2.   thrill - an almost pleasurable sensation of fright; "a frisson of surprise shot through him"
Synonyms: frisson, quiver, shudder, tingle, shiver, chill
3.   thrill - something that thrills; "the thrills of space travel"
Verb   1.   thrill - cause to be thrilled by some perceptual input; "The men were thrilled by a loud whistle blow"
2.   thrill - feel sudden intense sensation or emotion; "he was thrilled by the speed and the roar of the engine"
Synonyms: tickle, vibrate
3.   thrill - tremble convulsively, as from fear or excitement
Synonyms: shiver, shudder, throb
4.   thrill - fill with sublime emotion; tickle pink (exhilarate is obsolete in this usage); "The children were thrilled at the prospect of going to the movies"; "He was inebriated by his phenomenal success"
Synonyms: beatify, exhilarate, inebriate, exalt

It seems that it has to do with fleshly lustly feelings.

Gal 5:16 This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh.

1Jo 2:16 For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.

That guy didn't have a clue what he was saying. Every answer Kenneth gave him was really sound. "Luck is of the devil and so are you." Well said. No reason to be concerned, his walking away was to his own destruction, and no amount of quoting John 7:24 to him would have made any difference to a man whose ears are dull of hearing.

I hadn't viewed this all the way to the end, but the FIRE truck is super funny!! That's what you get when you are on FIRE for the Lord!!! Definitely some hot preaching there:-)

And what I noticed also is that I hardly saw any brown people...

And what I noticed also is that I hardly saw any brown people...

When I moved here from Hawaii I had the same thought the first time I walked into Walmart.
A friend of mine commented on one of my videos that Nashville is definitely "white bread".

However, that is only the perspective in the honky tonk district.
There's a good mixture of people here in middle Tennessee.

Yeah, country music definitely does not seem to appeal to people of colour. All the artists are white, so it seems logical that their audience would be, too.

Kenneth,

I have gotten so much from your videos.  I have been in tears at the mockers, cried out at those who ignore and walk away!

All I can say is may the Lord continue to bless your ministry!

Is there some way we can support you other than prayer and supporting your videos?

Yes there is.
Please pray that what we preach will always be in accordance with God's word.
Also, pray that what we say is precisely what the people need to hear.
Finally, please pray that, if the time comes, that I will have the courage to continue in this ministry by myself.

I think in due time, you won't have to go by yourself. Our Lord God knows the cry of your heart, and all we need to do is wait. The right person will show up eventually.
