Title: Nebuchadnezzar vs Nebuchadrezzar
Post by: ThomasHGW on August 22, 2018, 12:19:08 PM
Does anyone know what the difference is?
Nebuchadrezzar is only spoken of in Jeremiah and Ezekiel.
Nebuchadnezzar is spoken of in Kings, Chronicles, Ezra, Nehemiah,  Ester, Jeremiah, Daniel, but NOT Ezekiel to name a few.
Both spellings are almost always accompanied with the title king or king of Babylon, but I cant figure out what the difference is. Maybe hes referred to different spellings depending on what hes doing at the time? I am assuming they are referring to same person, but someone told me that they were different people, but both versions of the name are spoken of in Jeremiah, and it seems like they are used interchangeably.

There is no difference. It's two different ways to spell the same name.
