I've only recently (2 years ago) truly accepted the Grace I was offered because I didn't understand what repentance was orginally. I was confused to say the least.
I was a "false" convert without doubt. Wow! Scary looking back at it.
I was raised in a Christian family but I was very confused because of the teachings and messages that my parents thought were correct, they weren't!
I thought I was a saved Christian as I rebelled the majority of my adult life.

So, I'm learning here a bit on how your group operates. Yesterday, being day one for me, I was reading much of the information here and I was thinking this group, although clearly about the truth, might be a bit too haughty to do much good in helping others. Then last night, I listened to Chris on youtube. The part one of Billy Graham and the part one of Repentance. I must say, I was extremely happy to hear Chris's voice and listen to his style of teaching.
Not haughty at all. Clearly teaches in love and the fruit of the Spirit. Very well explained, deep heart felt truth. I really want to learn how to explain these things to others the way Chris does it. Repentance is so, so very important to understand.

But anyway, maybe This young man will come back and check on his posts and see that y'all do truly care for his well being and his soul.

Hi Celeste,

I liked what you wrote about yourself, it's a lot better than mine. Can I copy and paste it? just kidding.

"He is quite likely one of those who was never going to stay anyway." I do understand the need to vet truly born again believers but the kid was 16.
Y'all do know what James 2:3 says right?

Might I suggest taking it down a notch with the new applicants? How do you expect baby believers to truly open up if y'all come at them regarding the first few words they write?
