I'm working out a lot of kinks, but I've got the profile fields mostly setup now. I've got security protocols mostly back in place. The smileys were not loading, now they should be working properly. I also added in a feature I wanted to add in a long time ago; the "seedling" image that appears next to your posts will gradually grow into a tree as you increase your total amount of posts. I just never got around to working on that, so I finished, and setup the various levels for it. The tree will grow up to 1500 posts.

Someone sent me an old archive of the forum, but the problem with that is that each post has to be individually coded in. It does help that I can go back and copy/paste, but I still have to go find the image sources and do all the BBC coding involved in each individual post. I may do that for some of our larger articles, but I'm simply not going to sit here for days trying to recreate every post we had. I've just got too many other more important things to work on.

I've been working on this for the past 9 hours, and I'm getting a little burnt out.

Oh, and if anyone hasn't updated their profiles with the required information by tomorrow, I'll delete your account. Don't worry, you can always make a new one, but I want to get everyone up to par ASAP.

If you've already made a profile, you now need to edit it. There is specific information, namely your "FIRST NAME" and "BELIEF" that need to be changed. A first name is REQUIRED on this forum, and will appear on all your posts. Also, if you made a profile before I published this post, your default belief will read "ATHEIST," so you need to go in and change that ASAP.

You can edit your profiles for now, but later I'll be changing it so only admins can edit those fields. This is to prevent people from trolling in the future. Thank you for your patience while I get things back online.

General Discussion / NOTICE! - Everything Reset

Due to the fact that our previous domain registrar closed their doors without informing me, I lost everything on the database. That means that all accounts, posts... pretty much everything was lost when I had to do the transfer. Now the domain and web servers are on the same company, and that's a company that's much more reliable. I hope this doesn't happen again, as this is the 3rd time I've had to do this reinstall. It is extraordinarily frustrating to me to have to redo all this work again. I've made this functional enough that you all can make an account, talk to one another, and there's a nifty new title bar at the top. Outside of that, I'll slowly work on getting stuff fixed over time. You'll see various changes happen, and if you're seeing errors, missing buttons, or images that aren't loading, you'll have to wait until I get to those things one step at a time.

(Btw, that include all the links I had setup for discussions both on our articles, and on our Sat Night Chat sessions, so all those links will no longer work.)
