Bible Discussion / Re: Video KJB on Rumble

I'm not exactly sure why but these new uploaded videos are getting much more views than the original ones ever did.
The only thing different is that YT had me give them a copy of my DL to allow for uploading so many videos and editing so many thumbnails per day.

Maybe once they realized just who I am they decided that they need to promote my content.  ;D

I'm rapidly uploading those videos to YT also replacing the old ones. I don't know why you're getting notifications.

Introduce Yourself / Re: Greetings to all....

Frankly, I didn't want to engage with this guy at all. But Chris prompted me, indirectly, so I did. And I turned out as I expected.
Nonetheless, it needed to be done for multiple reasons.

1. Everyone should be given the opportunity to answer questions and expound on their testimony.

2. We can't make new friends or mark toxic people and false converts if we don't challenge them.

3. Whether for the positive or negative, people benefit from seeing or participating in such engagements.

There may be more but that's all I can think of.

The main reason I kept pressing him was in hopes of hearing something about him being grieved over his own choices and behavior. I wasn't looking for details, but repentance of the sin he claimed he'd committed.

Instead he went and started trolling my YouTube channel.  ???

I'm just trying to remove ambiguity.

Was there more than the sin of believing you were born gay that you felt convicted of when you believe you were born again?
If you stated earlier there was more than that I missed what it was.

Allow me to state my question more clearly:

Would it me accurate to say that the only sin you felt ashamed of during your salvation experience was believing you were born gay?

You mentioned your belief of being born "gay" as a sin you are guilty of, but you aren't saying anything about living a lifestyle of sodomizing other men.

I don't mean to focus on this one particular issue, but it's the only sin you've mentioned in relation to what you are pointing to as your salvation experience.

Hey Cal,

You addressed the sins your parents and others have committed against you, but what about the ones you committed against Jesus Christ, other than being "gay" (assuming you mean sodomizing other men)? Don't get me wrong, we don't need to know all the details about everything, but you may have overlooked some of that, unless that was the only one.

... but that night I knew He was truly real, I wept as I have never wept before, seeing and knowing that I lived a lie, and that HE truly Loved me enough as I was but knew how HE could change my life. ..., I kept weeping and at the same time so filled with a rapturous Joy unspeakable! It lasted hours……..but it was too be a very long journey indeed.

Weeping is often something that happens when we are born again and that is a good thing, but I didn't catch here why you were weeping so much.

...and that HE truly Loved me enough as I was...
Can you add a bit more to this part?

Bible Discussion / Video KJB on Rumble

About three years ago I made a YT channel of me reading the Bible. It is 371 videos looking at my Bible as I was reading it from cover to cover.
https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCla1j9F_SJCTqgzFrqFm2Bw

A few months ago I started editing out as many as possible of the mispronunciations, restarts, awkward...pauses, heavy breathing and annoying mouth noises.

As of tonight I've made public on Rumble just the first three videos in Genesis.
It's my intention to make public one video per day...roughly...Lord willing.
I hope someone finds it useful.

I will be making playlists once I figure that out.

How do you guys go about the process of sanctification, if you don't mind my asking?

In my experience it's often a result of what I've learned, therefore I make different choices. Sometimes I've discovered in hindsight that I simply had lost my taste for something (ie, rock music) only to learn later that it was bad for me.

Going about your life as you ought should steadily result in further sanctification. Sometimes change will be quick and easy, other times it will take a lot of time and effort.

Bible Discussion / Re: Thomas Nelson KJV- any problems?
« on: October 25, 2023, 08:21:51 AM »
What is copyrighted is the unnecessary junk Thomas Nelson has put into their King James Bibles. The text of scripture is not copyrighted. If they have actually changed God's words, I don't know. And if they have, whoa into them.

Evangelism / J-Dubs WILL NOT engage
« on: August 28, 2023, 12:03:02 PM »
Though I usually don't share preaching videos here I thought some may find the first few minutes of this one particularly interesting.

We've talked before about how brainwashed cult members have been forbidden by their leadership to talk about what they teach or believe.
This interaction, if you can call it that, is a perfect illustration of that.

Normally I just walk by these J-Dubs so I can get set up to start preaching.
Though I wasn't planning on it, nonetheless I stopped and rebuked two sets of them as we were headed to our usual spot.  They TOTALLY refused to engage. One of them actually grabbed their propaganda cart and started to walk away.

It will be published at 2:45CDT today.

Hello Dana,
The 501c3 book certainly does draw a lot of attention. I expect one of the big reasons is the obvious corruption in these so-called Christian churches.

We always like to hear everyone's salvation testimony. Can you post what happened when you got saved?

Introduce Yourself / Re: What a journey
« on: April 10, 2023, 11:00:10 PM »
It just really hurt because I was so excited to talk with other Christians when I started this journey and it destroyed me to discover that church going christians have been the most hurtful people towards me. Not to info dump but I just have no one else to share it with.
There are few, if any, in this group that haven't learned that same lesson the hard way too.
So many people would fancy themselves as Christians really have no stomach for proper doctrine, nor can they stand the thought of turning from paganism in its many forms.

You signed an agreement when you made an account that you'd share with us how you found this site and why you are here.  I know that sharing your testimony can be exciting and sometimes difficult, but could you share those two points with us?

I asked for opinions hoping for some meaningful dialogue to help me do my own vetting.
Since you are capable of doing your own vetting wouldn't the charitable thing be to do the work yourself and then being the good information you've found to the group for everyone's benefit?
