Kenneth, this was wonderful, to watch this young man wanting to know more, and that God put you there to witness to him.
Thank you for sharing this with us.

Joshua and i just prayed for Andrew, and also for God to continually protect you, and those who are out there witnessing for The Lord.

Hi Shannon, and welcome :-)

Thank you for sharing your testimony.  You have been through so much, for someone so young.
I am thanking the Lord, He has been with you through everything you went through.

The primary reason I joined the forum was to be able to converse with other born again believers and ultimately join the church. When I left my last church I was not sure if I would even find a church that taught sound doctrine. Thankfully the Lord brought me to CLE. I know it is not wise to walk this journey all by myself and that is why I need connection.

And thanking the Lord that He brought you to repentance and salvation.  And i am thanking the Lord that He brought you here, to us :-)
It is good to be amongst like-minded brethren.  We look forward to more conversations with you.  :-)

p.s.  my son Joshua and i are in Riverside county, California (for the past 25 years) city of Lake Elsinore... you could come by and visit :-)

We will pray that our Heavenly Father leads you, through His Word, to where He wants you to be.  :-)

It would be wonderful to meet you at some point :-)

Hopefully soon.  Yes, the stay-at-home orders are isolating so many people.  Thankfully, we have this forum, and Skype, etc.

Luke, welcome to the forum and thank you for sharing your testimony.  It's wonderful to have you here :-)

I want to know truth, and I believe I can find a good amount here.

yes, this really is a good place to be.  We seek to know the truth, and truly seek to follow the Lord God.  It can be difficult to find like-minded believers.  I am thankful to God that He has brought all of us together; I believe the Good Lord has brought you to us, too.

We look forward to more conversations with you.  :-)

oops... my post got cut off
here's the rest...

1 John 2:27
"But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him."

I pray God will give your family understanding, of what you are trying to tell them.  Have you shown them Christopher's book, "Why Millions of Believers on Jesus Are Going to Hell"...(it's free, on the CLE website).  The message is urgently needed.

I pray God will send you His Peace, and that He remove the headaches and confusion for you.  He is not the author of confusion.  Ask Him, and He will show you.

p.s.  my son Joshua, and I, are in Lake Elsinore, only 44 minutes away from you :-)

John, welcome to our forum group, and thank you for your testimony.  :-)

We are praying God will lead you to the right decision, that His Will for you be done.
It is difficult, when you have people in your life telling you what they think is best.  We can instead, pray to God for Him to show us.

Proverbs 3:5-6
Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.
In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.

The men in our church here, they have ministries.  And they didn't attend seminary colleges.  There is Christopher, who has been given wisdom from God, not a seminary college.  And he teaches true Biblical doctrine (unlike what is dangerously taught at the seminary colleges).  We have Steve, who does jail minstries.  Joshua, leading week-day Bible studies.  Valerie, ministering to the homeless.  And so forth.  All doing work for God, and blessing others.  And God provides for these Christians.

1 John 2:27

Madonna, thank you for sharing your testimony and experiences.
I just love hearing about such moments as these, where the Good Lord takes care of matters, in such a beautiful way.  :-)

And, it's such an example to me, to see how much you love Our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

I am SO happy you are here.  :-)

I was brought up Catholic and at the age in a family of 18 brothers and sisters. But when I was 12 years old I was aware It wasn't that I was a outwardly sinful child but I knew in my heart I was dirty and try as I might going to confession didn't make clean. The torment was unbearable. One day when I had enough I ran up to my room and fell on the bed and cried out "Lord God save me" instantly I felt the peace of God and that moment i started praying to Jesus with the little light I had.

Madonna, thanks be to God that He brought you out of the Catholic church.  Has any of your brothers or sisters also left that church?

i, too, was raised in a catholic church and at age 16, started questioning the church and finally got out of there around age 20.
Sadly, my mother and two sisters (and their children) still attend... and there's no talking to them.  I can only pray for them and ask God to save them out of there.  It's so sad.

Praise the Lord that He brought you, and others... out of there :-)

Introduce Yourself / Re: Hello from Born Again Christian in Ireland
« on: December 13, 2019, 02:41:44 AM »
Welcome William, and thank you for your introduction :-)
Praise God that you are Born Again, and that He led you to us :-)

...the catholic church has done more damage to this country probably than anywhere else and it still has a grip on the brainwashed and old...sad realy that irish men and women cant think for themselves.

yes, that is what I have been pondering lately... my relatives are from Spain, and are catholic, as most of that country is... (i was raised catholic, but at a young age started questioning the catholic church, and by age 20 i left that church)  but how is it, that these people do not stop and question the fruit of the church.  There has been so much evil wickedness in the catholic church, and they do not stop to question these things?  My mother and sisters consider themselves very intelligent.. yet, they allowed themselves to be brainwashed, as you said.  It truly is sad.

It is good, to have found a place here, where we can be with like-minded born again believers, and have fellowship.  Welcome :-)

grow stronger in our Faith.
