Yeah thanks Lorraine I will have to check this out later.  I work with a bunch of guys who are double minded. When they talk to certain people they are clearly afraid of this covid and when they talk to others who arent afraid they turn into macho men who arent afraid.  Also the office lady at my work was severely sick for some time so she went to the hospital and they never even tested her, but still labeled her as covid!  A couple days later they found out her problems were actually from brain cancer!  The same with my bosses aunt, who was sick and they never tested her and labeled it as covid!?

You changed your response after I replied to you so that it doesnt read what you said before. Now when I read it, it makes it look like I took what you said out of context, but I dont think I did...

Proverbs 12:1- Whoso loveth instruction loveth knowledge: but he that hateth reproof is brutish.

Proverbs 27:5- Open rebuke is better than secret love.

Chris just pointed out that you lied.  You told us that you were going to do something, and then went back on your word and didnt do it.  You said you pray that God humbles Chris, but I dont see any blatantly obvious pride in Chris here.  I do see pride in you Eric because you wont even acknowledge that you lied. Instead you make excuses because of your pride by basically saying that God wont hold you accountable of your word because this is online and the internet didnt exist when the Bible was written so therefore your typed words are not your real words.  Doesnt that seem silly?

A lot of people are scared of dying from this corona virus, so Im just wondering why now is she asking and looking into this? Like a guy from my work started saying God willing to certain things as if thats going to get him right with Christ because hes so sure that hes going to die from this virus. So does this woman want to know if her baptism was "valid" so that she doesnt have to be so concerned about going to hell if she dies soon?  I dont know, it was just a thought I had.  When did she email this to you?

Hey Christopher theres a scary deadly virus going on, but weve been baptized recently. Did God tell you that we have our ticket to heaven now before we get the virus? Or do we need to turn from our sin too?

He must've glossed over the part where you talked about people having worldly sorrow instead of Godly sorrow for 2 Corinthians.  Or maybe skipped the whole section. Or maybe just skipped through most of the article..?

I'm guilty in that I dont make an effort to speak with any of you all, a part of the church and Im sorry for that.  That was definitely something that I needed to read Chris. I have sanctified myself from old friends however, I dont turn them away if they just suddenly show up to my house which has only happened once, and I told him about how I attend the skype call on Sundays and that I believe in God. All of my old friends were angry with me when I stopped being around them.

I wish I could remember what they were called and I told the doctors no were not doin it.

The compounds are called prostaglandins.  We naturally produce quite a number of prostaglandins in our bodies and they have a hormone like action.  I know this from biochemistry and not from working in pharmacy.  I really have very little idea of any pills and potions out there that are manufactured and I only know of the God made compounds that operate in our bodies all the time.  The ordinary person in the street knows more about all the pills and potions than I do  ....  and I'm happy about that.

Good on you for turning down the medication and it is so pleasing to read that your son is doing so well compared to others.

Some light reading for you   ......  and I'll give you a one hour exam on prostaglandins tomorrow  ;D

Prostaglandin

Lol Ill check it out, we'll see about the test though haha .......   Im actually thinking about it harder and I told the story wrong. What it really was, was she was having contractions. She wasnt dilated yet but one of the steroids they wanted to give her was something to POTENTIALLY postpone the process for a couple more weeks and a different steroid to strengthen his lungs.  Im actually checking that page out now and youre right about what they were.  Prostaglandin antagonists:  Corticosteroids.  Thats what the steroids were.  I remember that word.

Yeah, I wasnt yelling or anything.  My boy was premature and they consistently asked us to allow them to formula feed him and we were strictly breastfeeding.  So I was totally against formula and still am, anyways I just said were breastfeeding, do you know what cows milk is for?  Its for calfs to blow them up into a huge cow, were not doin that and she was just crying but trying to hold it in, but you could hear it in her voice.  And they asked us to give him like supplements and medication and all this crap that wasnt necessary.  When he was being born, I said at the the little circle of doctors surrounding his mother, were not doing the shots.  And one doctor was so mad and offended and said "Okay so you want him to bleed in the brain and die?"  And I said no thats not going to happen but thank you and she was talking about the Vitamin K shot.  Ummmm what else,  when holly started having contractions or whatever at 34 weeks she wanted to go to the hospital so we went and they were saying she is dilated and she is going to have the baby soon and they wanted to give her two different kinds of steroids, I forget what they were called, to stop the process in its tracts. So I did some research on whatever these things were while we were just sitting in the hospital room and they were terrible. I wish I could remember what they were called and I told the doctors no were not doin it.  So they sent the actual doctor to talk to me and he tried talking to me and I said okay give me the package insert lets take a look.  They were like ah crap he asked for the package inserts, left the room and came back with some piece of paper that they printed out that just tried to tell me how these steroids were okay and I was like, no??  So they sent some old lady to the room the be extremely rude to me and to make me feel like a terrible person she said something about how a 34 week baby is terrible and he would die and really though, 34 week babies have a really high success rate to be okay, like over 90%.  So they sent us over to St vincents womens hospital so we could have the baby.  I eventually got ahold of those inserts and the side effects were terrible, like death and so much more.  I kept those inserts for a long time I dont know what happened to them.  I knew my boy would be okay because I trusted God rather than any of those doctors.  Now his pediatrician is telling us how much smarter he is than all the other kids he sees at his age and how much more developed his speech is and stuff.

I don't believe that context in Romans 1 applies to her situation.

Right.  Yeah, I wasn't sure.

Idk if this verse in Romans 1:20-23 has anything to do with making your own image of Christ in your head.

Romans 1:20-23 20For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse: 21Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened. 22Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools, 23And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things.

Im not saying you arent thankful and glorify God as God, but imagining God in your own way like to corruptible man.

zachshrader the catch to this one is that a fruit with life-extending properties allows one to simulate immortality, hence "live for ever".

I dont remember the Bible ever saying anything like this, so where are you coming up with this?  God said live forever and I believe it.  If it didnt mean live forever, and only meant to extend life, but they would still die eventually after theyre extended life, wouldnt that make God a liar?

It says live forever in verse 22. You quoted it. Does that not answer your question?
