What are Biblical Rights?(If any)

I learned some time ago that voting is not a right and is not a privilege. Are there any "basic rights" in the Bible that are defined by God as belonging to every man?(Please give answers in reference to the Bible)

I've honestly read it several times Ms. Jeanne. I've read that Mr. Johnson does define some Biblical rights, though I haven't encountered much scripture on the matter as of now. Therefore, I am asking.

Are there basic rights in the Bible to as what Mr. Johnson defined in one of his articles, or are there no rights whatsoever in Scripture?

Basic rights in regards to what, exactly? Again, you haven't given sufficient information for us to understand what your real question is. You keep asking these vague questions and then wonder why nobody responds.

If you can't take the time to communicate clearly exactly what it is you want to know and why, nobody is going to pay any attention because we don't know what you're talking about.

More specifically, you say "basic rights" which you did not define. Then you say that I defined it, but I don't remember defining the term "basic rights," not to say that I didn't, but I don't even remember doing that. So you haven't given us much to go on to understand what you're asking.

Are you talking about rights as defined in the Declaration of Independence?

I can think of some real basic rights given to us in the bible. We have a right to live on this earth, breath air, own land, we have right to come to the foot of the cross. We have a right to come to repentance so we can be with the god who gave you the right. The things of god are gods and we have rights to them. The things of men are men's and are only privileged given by man.

Okay, I didn't want to comment but you guys are going to confuse him. First of all, Jeanne, the Declaration does not technically define the term "rights." I'm asking for Nathan's definition.

Billy, when I'm asking for Nathan's definition, and he hasn't given it yet, we cannot answer about what the Bible says about "rights" because everyone is ASSUMING what is meant by that word. Once Nathan defines it, I'll show you the error of in your statements.

I just want everyone to slow down, and let Nathan answer for himself first. Then we can respond accordingly.
