I have heard Chris say in referring to the God head ( and this may be an old teaching) the term person. I follow what the Bible says John 4:23-25 King James Version (KJV)
23 But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshipers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him.
24 God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth. The point I am trying to make is God is not a person.
However God does have anthropomorphic form even when in Heaven.
Acts 7 Authorized (King James) Version (AKJV)
54 When they heard these things, they were cut to the heart, and they gnashed on him with their teeth. 55 But he, being full of the Holy Ghost, looked up stedfastly into heaven, and saw the glory of God, and Jesus standing on the right hand of God, 56 and said, Behold, I see the heavens opened, and the Son of man standing on the right hand of God. Who sits down? People do. What do they sit on? Their bottoms.
Who stands up from the sitting position? People do. What do they stand on? Legs and feet.
Who has a right hand and a left hand? People do.
What side of the Father is Jesus seated on? The right hand side.
Revelation 1 Authorized (King James) Version (AKJV)
12 And I turned to see the voice that spake with me. And being turned, I saw seven golden candlesticks; 13 and in the midst of the seven candlesticks one like unto the Son of man, clothed with a garment down to the foot, and girt about the paps with a golden girdle. 14 His head and his hairs were white like wool, as white as snow; and his eyes were as a flame of fire; 15 and his feet like unto fine brass, as if they burned in a furnace; and his voice as the sound of many waters.Who typically has vocal cords that create a voice? People do.
Who has feet? People do.
Who is normally clothed with a garment? People are.
Who normally has a head? People do.
Who has eyes? People do.
Since God has a voice, it goes without saying really that he also has ears.
Matthew 7 Authorized (King James) Version (AKJV)
21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. 22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? 23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.
