There are different hats, but that one is similar. Hmm. I can't comment on where that came from because it would take a lot more research.

I'm sure the others here are wondering the same things and that might be why no-one has been so quick to reply to your posting and so I especially look forward to reading your reply.

No, my reasoning had nothing to do with denominations or 501c3, and that's the sort of thing Christians can learn about later because that is not required doctrine for a testimony of Christ, and that seemed a bit strict on someone new to this forum. My concern is that there are many Catholics who also have claimed to accepted Christ as their savior, but are not saved.

I didn't see anything about repentance in that post. There have been many people I have encountered who were raised in a religious cult, like Catholicism or Mormonism for example, and the problem is that they believe that coming out of that religious cult and attending in a particular building is what converted them, when Jesus gave us no such mandate, and so I would need to read more.

David said he might add more later, so I was just going to wait until he added more.

If you all want to make suggestions among yourselves, that's great. I do not care to go through tons of different options because I am not that interested. I do social media stuff only because a lot of people online do. If I could just use a video service and that's it, that's all I would do. Switching itself is a large step, and I do not want to personally get muddle with lots of suggestions. I know there has only been one so far on this thread, but I knew this was coming before I wrote this post. Again, if you all want to suggest things between one another, that's great, go for it.

I am not sure what I am going to do yet because I need to discover the full functionality of these new sites, but there are some social media platforms that have started to gain a lot of traction recently, and they are replacing YouTube and Twitter.

PARLER - parler.com (replacing Twitter)
RUMBLE - rumble.com (replacing YouTube)

These are social media platforms that advertise free speech for all, without censorship. So long as you do not post anything illegal or sexually explicit, they allow it on their platform. I need to do some work with them to see if they have the functionality I need for what I do on my website, but if Rumble can do some of the things YouTube can do, like embedded playlists for example, I might be leaving YouTube for good because, as it stands, YouTube is starting to become too dangerous, and I could lose my YouTube account at anytime on their biased, communist-style platform of censorship.

Some people might be afraid to do this because they lose all their "subscribers," but I was never in this to win a popularity contest, so I could care less how many subscribers I have.

If I decide to do any switching, I'll still leave up the old accounts so people can still watch videos, and I'll make announcements in multiple ways so everyone knows. Just stay tuned because I'll need some weeks or months to try them out side-by-side before I make any decisions.

What's New @ CLE / (UPDATE) The Biblical Understanding of Fasting
« on: November 18, 2020, 08:58:30 AM »
I wanted to make an important health note in my teaching on fasting. Here is the update I made today:

It should be noted that some people who fast have a problem with producing a lot of stomach acid during the fast, and I know this from experience because I am one of those people. Please do not confusing this with someone who randomly vomits during their fast because that can be normal. I have spent days (without a break) nauseous, heaving, and vomiting during a fast without any idea what was happening to me, so if anyone reading this has experienced such a problem, I would offer three suggestions because vomiting too much can be dangerous if the acidity gets into your blood stream. (i.e. You will begin to vomit uncontrollably and may end up in the hospital.)

1. Do not drink water in large portions all at once. When you drink water, sip your water in small doses consistently throughout the day. If you drink a large amount of water all at once (which I used to do), then your stomach will feel like it is full, and when that happens, your stomach does not know it is only filled with water, and therefore, it will automatically produce more acid to digest food that is not there, making your nauseous.
2. Drink hot water instead of cold water. Sipping on hot water can help warm your already cold body, and it will help to relax your stomach. You may also want to consider sipping chamomile tea (which is almost entirely water), which is daisy-like plant that has been traditionally known to calm the body and somewhat reduce nausea.
3. Take calcium antacid tablets. I would only use this as a last resort, but there are some people who have intense vomiting reactions from fasting because of the acidity in their stomach, and under that circumstance, it is better to be safe. The calcium will help neutralize the acid in the stomach. Just take one, and only use as needed.

Another sign of acid build-up in your stomach is if you have a horrible taste in your mouth. In my experience, it has made water extraordinarily difficult to drink because drinking it makes it taste like vomit. Under those circumstances, you may be exerpiencing a surplus of stomach acid, so just listen to your body and watch for the signs.

What's New @ CLE / (UPDATE) The Cure for Cancer
« on: November 16, 2020, 03:24:05 PM »
I discovered some new information today that I added to the section about scam charities, and why we should be cautious about giving to charities in general. I am not saying it is wrong, but rather, I am saying that, for a true charity, they will more often want volunteers than money, meaning people who are personally involved in their giving and do not just throw money at a problem and expect everyone else to handle it.

Here is the new update:

During the 2020 election season in the United States, researchers were investigating Senator Joe Biden, a former U.S. vice-president who (as of 2020, when he ran for president) is being investigated for various criminal activities, and those researchers discovered that Biden had his own cancer research charity organization called The Biden Cancer Initiative. Even though Biden spent many millions of dollars of donations on salaries for employees, tax records show that he did not spend one dollar on cancer research, and he never gave out one grant:
"A cancer charity started by Joe Biden gave out no money to research, and spent most of its contributions on staff salaries, federal filings show. The Biden Cancer Initiative was founded in 2017 by the former vice president and his wife, Jill Biden, to 'develop and drive implementation of solutions to accelerate progress in cancer prevention, detection, diagnosis, research and care and to reduce disparities in cancer outcomes,' according to its IRS mission statement. But it gave out no grants in its first two years, and spent millions on the salaries of former Washington, DC, aides it hired."
-Isabel Vincent, "Tax filings reveal Biden cancer charity spent millions on salaries, zero on research," New York Post, Nov 14, 2020, retrieved Nov 16, 2020, [https://bit.ly/38PKMsu]

The article goes on to point out that Biden hired many of he personal friends and collegues, including Gregory Simon, a former Pfizer (pharmaceutical company) executive, and Danielle Carnival, Barack Obama's former chief of staff, just to name a couple. Biden's friends made anywhere from $250,000 to $430,000 in a single fiscal year, all paid for by the charitable donations of Americans looking to help their loved one, and any other money that left over went to pay for their meals, travel, hotel rooms, and to put on lavish conferences for their scam charity.

In fact, if you want to know how "charitable" Joe Biden is, reporters discovered that, as of 2008, Biden and his wife had only given an average of $369 a year to charity, meaning that he is more than happy to take millions from average middle class workers and give it to his friends, but not will to step up on his own dime to help others:
"Democratic vice presidential candidate Joe Biden and his wife gave an average of $369 a year to charity during the past decade, his tax records show. Democratic presidential nominee Barack Obama's campaign today released 10 years' worth of tax returns for Biden, a senator from Delaware, and his wife Jill, a community college instructor. The Bidens reported earning $319,853 last year, including $71,000 in royalties for his memoir, Promises to Keep: On Life and Politics. The Bidens reported giving $995 in charitable donations last year - about 0.3% of their income and the highest amount in the past decade. The low was $120 in 1999, about 0.1% of yearly income. Over the decade, the Bidens reported a total of $3,690 in charitable donations, or 0.2% of their income."
-Matt Kelley, "Biden gave average of $369 to charity a year," USA Today, Sept 12, 2008, retrieved Nov 16, 2020, [abcnews.go.com/Politics/story?id=5791846&page=1]

Law/Legal / Re: What is happening right now in the U.S. elections?
« on: November 14, 2020, 05:26:41 PM »
Just an update, today was one of the biggest rallies ever put on at Washington DC. It was a march just to support Donald Trump, and to encourage him that the people know the truth, despite the media. Last I heard, there were over 100,000 people there, a mix of people from ALL 50 states, including Alaska and Hawaii. This video is about four minutes, and will sum it up:

It's sad that Catholic propaganda is being spread, and I hate that. There were "Jesus Saves" signs instead of signs showing the moral commandments out of the Ten, and a call to repentance. I do not agree with every statement that was made from the people in the video, so please do not misunderstand why I am posting this. I am just showing what happened, and that little respect is ever shown to the born again Christians who continue to serve our Master, who created America, and all the people in it, and who move ever forward to win the lost to Christ, even those who claim to believe on Jesus, but do not.

The woman who started this rally put up the group on Facebook, and within 22 hours, she had 356,000 followers, and it was so viral, they began to gain 1,000 followers every 10 seconds. It was at that point, Facebook shut her down, but the people still showed up despite the censorship of big tech.

New organizations have been formed and movements have begun. Two of those are "Women for America First," and "Moms for America First" whose stated goals are to uphold and defend the Constitution of the United States, while promoting truth, honesty, and the sacredness of the family unit.

Trump could win or Biden could win, but either way, something has been sparked in Americans that I have never seen in my lifetime. For the church, our job is the same, and little do they know that we work to save the souls of these people. No matter how grand the display might seem, it is dust in the wind compared to the glory that is to come on the day of Christ's return.

Introduce Yourself / Re: How I came to Christ
« on: November 14, 2020, 09:24:59 AM »
How can one confess Christ who hasn't believed?
Even this doesn't save you. again, to tremble before our creator for his glory revealed all our iniquity.  This doesn't save a man. But had faith not brought the fear, because one cannot fear any he doesn't believe, fear would not have brought the deep penatrating agony of our sins. It however  is not salvation. But commitment to the father ones life to guide hime on the foundation of these principles are our faith. Not of works alone. Not of sorrow for our flesh tearing at the spiritual discipline we yearn for. But of our love for him above all others and in turn as he has loved us so we have joy unspoken in the spirit to comfort us for the sins we have committed are grevios to us in our memories. So he has loved us and we in turn love others insomuch that we are compelled to share his love.
This is how you will know them for the love they have one for another.
Howbeit he didnt say of sorrow? Of work? Of faith?
So Paul even considered it. He said we are a tinkling symbol if we have all gifts but lack love. Love produces charity in a giving sense but the charity of ones heart is love.
Please give me time to adress some more issues. Considering this is one of many to come.

Finally. It took almost a month to get this out of you. Now I see what the problem is, and now I know why you are trying to write in a sanctimonious tone instead of just speaking plainly with us: You do not believe in repentance as we do.

For those of you who may not have caught it, let me quote the key section:
Quote
fear would not have brought the deep penatrating agony of our sins.

So Josh is now continuing to speak in his feigned poetic manner, even though he already said he is "a poor man for words," which is still a contradiction and deceitful. That being said, let's walk through this step by step.

He says that fear of God has made us agonize over our sin, but then says that is not salvation. Of course it isn't because Jesus Christ is salvation, as His name, Jesus, means salvation. No one here has ever said "repentance is salvation," but rather repentance is a condition for salvation that is given to us.

In meekness instructing those that oppose themselves; if God peradventure will give them repentance to the acknowledging of the truth;
-2Ti 2:25

In agreement with this, Josh says, " It[,] however[,] is not salvation. But commitment to the father [in] one[']s life to guide hime [him] on the foundation of these principles are [is] our faith," which means Josh believes in a very similar principle to the Catholic Church, in that he believe that it takes faith and works combined to gain his salvation. Notice specifically that after he said that agonizing over sin (which I took to mean sorrow for one's sin) is not enough (and I agree), he then said the "commitment to the father" is a necessary condition for salvation, and that is not what the Bible teaches us.

For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.
-Eph 2:8-9

Then opened he their understanding, that they might understand the scriptures, And said unto them, Thus it is written, and thus it behoved Christ to suffer, and to rise from the dead the third day: And that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem.
-Luke 24:45-47

In case that wasn't enough, Josh goes on to try to save himself from being called out on this, but his next sentence gives it away: "Not of works alone." If he had said, "Not of works," and stopped the sentence there, we would just be left in confusion to the previous sentence, but the fact that he meaningfully added in the word 'alone' gave it all away. He believes that there is some work involved in earning salvation, otherwise, you will not get it, and that right there brings all his confusing posts into the light to make sense of them.

His works-based doctrine now explains to me why his posts were so sporadic and confusing, why he seemed to be speaking a sanctimonious, poetic tone, even though he is a "poor man for words," why he would post Scripture with no explanation in another thread, why he had to go "pray" just to answer a question about how old he was at a certain point in his testimony, and why he seems to be so fearful among us. Josh was desperately trying to find every way he could to poetically scream out "GLORY TO JESUS!" to try to fool us, hoping that we would not ask him about his foundational beliefs, and just accept him without requiring him to confess what he truly believes.

Josh then solidifies what I am saying by going on to say, "Not of sorrow for our flesh tearing at the spiritual discipline we yearn for. But of our love for him," which creates two more problems. First, he rejects the doctrine that godly sorrow has any part of saving grace, and instead says that we only need to "love God." The majority of Jews "love God," and the majority of Catholics "love Jesus," but an overwhelming majority of them will end up in hell.

Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.
-Mat 7:13-14

The second problem is that he also denies the doctrine that no man seeks after God on his own, meaning that no one is sitting around saying, "Oh, when will God give me this sorrow that I long for so I can have good spiritual discipline?"

What then? are we better than they? No, in no wise: for we have before proved both Jews and Gentiles, that they are all under sin; As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one: There is none that understandeth, there is none that seeketh after God. They are all gone out of the way, they are together become unprofitable; there is none that doeth good, no, not one. Their throat is an open sepulchre; with their tongues they have used deceit; the poison of asps is under their lips: Whose mouth is full of cursing and bitterness: Their feet are swift to shed blood: Destruction and misery are in their ways: And the way of peace have they not known: There is no fear of God before their eyes.
-Romans 3:10-18

The Spirit of God must come to them in their broken state to open their eyes, which He does by the hearing of His Word, whether preached or read:

So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
-Romans 10:17

When the Spirit of God comes to a man, He gives that man repentance (i.e. godly sorrow of his wrongdoing) and faith (trust in Christ's shed blood), and through those gifts, that man is redeemed unto eternal life. That is NOT what Josh believes because Josh chooses to believe that he has to do works to earn that place, and that means he believes in a false gospel, and sadly, it also means he believes in a different "jesus" than the Jesus Christ of the Bible.

Josh, to me, it sounds like the true conversion of your wife has shaken you to your core. That's a good thing. Since you wanted to quote those verses about marriage in another thread (even though you did not even bother to give a chapter/book reference where you got them from), let me quote a couple of those verses back to you:

And the woman which hath an husband that believeth not, and if he be pleased to dwell with her, let her not leave him. For the unbelieving husband is sanctified by the wife, and the unbelieving wife is sanctified by the husband: else were your children unclean; but now are they holy.
-1 Corinthians 7:13-14

As I said to you in the other thread, "I believe your responses to us are covering for something you do not want us to see, and I don't know what it is yet, but I will patient because, as God has always done, He will show me in due time if you keep talking." It's sad that it took a month for your to say these things, and next time, it would be better to speak plainly with everyone so we do not have to waste so much time. Personally, I do not believe you have been born again in Christ; I think you have been playing church for many years because you have put your faith into your experiences, and therefore, you are trying to interpret the Word of God by your experiences, rather than faithfully adapting to His doctrines, and that is why there is disconnect between you and our church.

I will try to remember to pray for Heather, that God would be merciful to her and give her the discernment she needs to be a faithful mother in your household.

I think that answer only supports my initial suspicions... you're trying to hide something from us. I have seen this type of thing from other people before, but in your particular case, your answer was absurd.

Your post said "Marriage." You put down scriptures concerning marriage. When asked for why you are posting this, or in other words, what the point of posting it was, you simply said "I thought it explains itself." I did not ask for what the interpretation of the Scripture was because I already intimately familiar with it, but rather, I asked for what YOUR purpose was, which you failed to even attempt to explain.

Then, without any effort to simply explain your point in posting this, you "apologize" (which I don't really believe) for making it easy to misunderstand your inspiration. Let me try to give an analogy to help explain the absurdity of that statement.

Let's imagine for a moment that your wife was out with the children, and on your own, you had studied up on how to prepare an complex exotic dish, let's say Risotto Scampi e Limone (which is Risotto with Lemon and Prawns), piping hot and ready when she and the children get home. She then asks, "Wow, what's the occasion?" (or, what is the point of this?) To which you respond, "I thought the dish explains itself. What commentary could I give that explains what I have already cooked? I apologize for making it easy to misunderstand my inspiration."

I guarantee Heather would look at you with a dumbfounded expression because you did not answer her question, which is a systematic habit of yours as I am beginning to see. Again, I believe your responses to us are covering for something you do not want us to see, and I don't know what it is yet, but I will patient because, as God has always done, He will show me in due time if you keep talking.

Josh, if you have a point, you need to make your point. You are posting Scripture to an audience of Christians who study the Scriptures regularly, and on top of that, I just finished doing a full-length teaching on this very subject in which I covered these verses in detail. So, what is your point?

Okay Josh, I can't stay silent anymore because you totally ignored the very simple questions Megan asked you, and your response was quite similar to how a politician might vaguely respond to questions they don't like. It amazed me that you stated that you were a "poor man for words," and yet, you keep trying to write in some poetic manner instead of just addressing simple questions and speaking plainly.

Frankly, something is really odd about what you wrote in this thread, and I am not sure I can put my finger on exactly what it is, but I guarantee that you do not talk to people like this on a daily basis, which indicates to me that what you are writing here is covering something, and as much as I want to give someone the charitable benefit of the doubt, it is very difficult for me to do so in this situation because I am struggling to understand what you are saying.

Your first introduction post seemed to gloss over repentance of sin, and then later, you seemed to indicate that your tears were of joy, not of sorrow. Then, when you wrote another post to try and clarify some things, it made me more confused than I was with the first post. Now, under normal circumstances, I would just say nothing and try to give you the benefit of the doubt that you just write poorly, but when someone asks you a simple question about how old you were when something happened, and you answer with "A righteous man will rise again!" and "Study to show thyself approved!" then I become very cautious because that goes more along the lines of manipulation rather than testimony, meaning that it seems to me that you are attempting to give all of us an impression of yourself you want us to believe, rather than giving a open testimony of Christ because you are nervous we might see something you don't want us to see.

I am obviously not the only person on this forum who was confused and found your testimony odd, otherwise, more people would have responded, as you can see if you check out other testimonies on this forum. I cannot think of anything else to say right now because your three posts altogether have left me cautious about what it is you really believe.

Law/Legal / What is happening right now in the U.S. elections?
« on: November 10, 2020, 07:58:34 AM »
I have discussed these things privately with our church over Skype, but for anyone else reading, I wanted to give you clear and concise information concerning what is going on in the United States. To be clear, Joe Biden has NOT been elected president, and Donald Trump has NOT lost the election. We do not currently know what will happen, but in America, presidential candidates are NOT declared by the media; rather, presidential candidates are declared by the courts, and these court declarations do NOT happen on election day.

Currently, there are at least six states that have not declared a winner because there is are MANY lawsuits being filed concerning voter fraud. Thankfully, here on the CLE Forum, there is no censorship of this information, as we are allowed speak freely of these things.

I would argue that the best explanation of what is going on right now in America can be understood in this short, 10-minute video produced by the Epoch Times, which is a truly non-biased, non-partisan media source:

If you are born again in the Lord Jesus Christ, and want to know what you can do, my answer is that prayer is INFINTELY more powerful than a vote.

Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.
-James 5:16

Though there are none righteous, as Paul taught in Romans 3, we have been given the righteousness of Christ, and therefore, the prayer of one born again Christian is more powerful than a million votes. The will of the Lord should always be done, and we should always submit to Him, but we can express our grief to him of the many crimes being committed against the poor, the elderly, and the simple, praying that justice would be done to the evildoers, and mercy would be given to us all.

In my teachings, I have said before that I do not agree with the statement that "America is the greatest nation in the world," simply because that is a position of pride and arrogance, which is sin. However, that being said, I do believe that America has the greatest system of government (i.e. our Constitutional Republic) that the world has ever seen, which is why people from other countries flock to America seeking refuge and opportunity.

I give praise to God that we live in a country where my life is not threatened for preaching the Word of God, and that I may freely make my teachings available to people all over the world. However, in America right now, that freedom of speech and freedom of religion is under heavy persecution, and it may be only a short time before we begin to lose those rights, so our humble prayers to the Lord God is our greatest weapon against the wicked.

If we want the good, merciful favor of God, then the Bible tells us what we ought to do:
If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.
-2 Chronicles 7:14

Rest assured, even if Joe Biden wins, and even if these leftists (which I refer to as the American Communist Party) get their way, the Lord God will NEVER let them have their way with His children. Even if they persecute us unto death, all things are by His will, and even if He wills for our deaths, the end result will be the glory of the Lord Jesus Christ with eternal life in His Kingdom, never knowing tears again.

And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.
-Rev 21:4

Be bold in Christ. Trust in His Word. Pray that leaders would make the right decisions that we may continue the work Jesus Christ has ordered us to do, and that as many as possible would be brought to repentance (i.e. grief and godly sorrow of sins) and faith in Christ.

I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men; For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty. For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour; Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth.
-1Ti 2:1-4

Wild Emails @ CLE / Atheist Thinks YouTube is the Place for Debate
« on: November 09, 2020, 08:18:10 AM »
This letter was sent to me by a man named Tony from Australia, and this is the same "ptango" that came on to my old podcast show to debate against me on three separate occasions. I have not spoken to this man in many years, and so something must have triggered him to contact me, but his email was pointless, as you are about to see...

TONY FROM AUSTRALIA:

Wow you are one of those guys now who disables comments. One of the things that got me to talk to you on skyp all those years ago was the fact you were calling out atheists. You accused us of not having the courage of our convictions because we would not come on your show to discus it. Now you are that guy running from discourse. You are the one censoring descenting views. It great to see the Christian religion is still one of the most morally bankrupt ideologies around. Wow just wow dude. The disappointment is real

So, because I disabled YouTube comments, I am now "running from discourse?" I'm not sure if you are familiar with a logical fallacy called "hasty generalization," but you should look it up because that's exactly what you just did.

If you believe you can get real discourse on YouTube comments, I think you should look into some other mediums because YouTube comments are not where rational discussion takes place. Useless, brief comments (like that of this email you wrote me) is one of the many reasons I removed YouTube comments on videos, and since you have not made any statements that relate to anything that would resemble rational discourse in this email, I will bid you a good day because I have work to do, and such letters are just a waste of my time, especially coming from someone who (if I recall who you are) has never come up with a justification for good or evil in his own worldview. (i.e. It's hypocritical of you to talk about morality when you have no justification for your own.) I have already shown you the truth, you have rejected it, and so I have moved on to others who will listen instead of wasting my time with those who have no intent to listen.

I have no obligations to you, and you have your own Youtube channel where you are free to post anything you want, so have fun with that, and I hope you have a great day.

END OF DISCUSSION

I wish I had known more back when I had conversations with Tony and others on that podcast, but that was the better part of a decade ago, and there is nothing I can do about it now. However, one does not need a superb amount of knowledge to defeat an atheist in debate because their worldview is void of reason because they cannot justify reason, morals, logic, science, math, or any other related concept from an atheist perspective. Here is one of those debates:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x0LvOS8WDco

Also, here is my full teaching on atheism:
Everything You Need to Know About Atheism

You might notice that Tony seems courteous on the outside when he goes on a show, but once he is able to hide behind his computer, his true heart comes out and he gets vicious, which was clearly seen by the many YouTube comments and emails he used to send me; proving the Bible true once again, as you can see for yourself if you read the first chapter of Romans.

Introduce Yourself / Re: Saved out of the Catholic Cult !
« on: October 31, 2020, 12:36:38 PM »
Since it has been brought up twice, I will address it. I did not say anything about it when I did the teaching, but I already knew in my mind someone was going to email me or contact me in some other way, wanting to explain the intimate details about the Catholic Mysteries, and also knew that it was going to be pointless. Although I am glad this spurred you to come to the forum to talk with us, and I am glad you shared your testimony with us, I want to make sure it is understood to everyone that I simply do not care about the Catholic Mysteries (nor do I care about the intimate details of the sinful things Catholic tradition promotes), and I would argue, not only does it not matter for the purpose of the teaching, but the information is not helpful or edifying to anyone.

What I quoted from the Catholic organization was poorly worded in their own document, in that the average person would not understand what they were saying. That is the point I was making. Essentially, you would have to be raised within their system in order to understand what they were talking about, and that itself is a much better philosophical point than trying to understand the details of their traditions.

For example, I quoted from witches in the teaching, and there are number of things they said in their articles that did not make any sense, and though I am sure they would be happy to explain the intimate details about their pagan practices, I simply do not care because that information is not edifying to the church in any context that I am speaking about. Likewise, I simply do not care about the intimate details of vain prayers from the Catholic Church since they violate the doctrines of Jesus Christ, or in other words, I would rather understand the intimate details of Scripture than to waste my time understanding the intimate details of Catholic pagan practices.

For your obedience is come abroad unto all men. I am glad therefore on your behalf: but yet I would have you wise unto that which is good, and simple concerning evil.
-Rom 16:19

That is why I did not respond to anything you wrote about it earlier, and I was not going to comment at all and just leave it alone, but since it has now been brought up twice on two different threads, I thought I needed to briefly address it, and so now I hope everyone understands why I did not choose to look up intimate details about the Catholic mysteries before I did the teaching (or while I was writing the book), and I more or less just condemned the stupidity of the entire practice; for the sake of the church and the Lord Jesus Christ, I will say: it's still ridiculous.

I listened for 14 straight hours. What I learned was so astounding to me (as a Catholic we had zero bible reading, except one or 2 repetitive paragraphs during weekly rituals) that I couldn't get enough.
But every Catholic that has written to argue with me swears up and down that they study the Bible. It's interesting that when I meet someone who has come out of Catholicism, they confess that they never studied the Bible. Strange phenomenon.

After reading your entire introduction, I was wondering if you have listened to this teaching:

If you have, I was curious about your thoughts on that; if you get the time, that is.

Thanks.
